Account Deletion
Last updated: June 11, 2026
Glimora lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data directly in the app. This page explains exactly what is removed and how to do it.
How to Delete Your Account
You can permanently delete your account from inside the app. Once you confirm, deletion is immediate and cannot be undone, with no grace period.
To delete your account:
- Open Glimora and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the Delete Account option, located below Contact Us.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm when prompted.
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, your anonymous Glimora account and all data linked to it are permanently removed from our database through cascading deletes, including:
- Your profile and onboarding details (name, age, skin profile, concerns, goals, and preferences).
- Your profile photo and any saved or try-on images.
- Your AI scan history from Color Analysis, Facial Analysis, and Ideal Makeup.
- Your saved and scanned makeup products.
- Your saved looks and virtual try-on sessions.
- Your in-app analytics and the subscription records held by Glimora.
Cancel Your Subscription First
Important: deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. Apple manages subscription billing, so you must cancel it separately to avoid being charged after your data is gone.
Cancel through your Apple ID settings (Settings β Apple ID β Subscriptions) or the in-app Manage Subscription button before you delete your account.
Data Retention
We keep your data only while your account exists. When you delete your account, the data above is removed from our database immediately through cascading deletes. Photos previously sent to our AI provider for premium scans are not retained by that provider beyond processing. Subscription records held by Apple and RevenueCat are governed by their own retention policies.
