Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Glimora is an AI makeup and beauty app that uses a secure cloud backend to store your profile, scan results, saved products, and looks. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who processes it, and how you can delete it.

Who We Are

This Privacy Policy applies to Glimora, the AI makeup and beauty app and related website. For privacy questions or data requests, contact privacy@glimora.app.

Your Anonymous Account

When you install Glimora, the app automatically creates an anonymous account for your device. There is no sign-up form, email, or password, but a unique account identifier is created and stored on our backend. It persists across sessions so your profile, scans, and saved content stay available when you reopen the app.

We use Supabase as our backend provider to host this account and the data linked to it.

Information We Collect

The following information is stored on our backend and linked to your anonymous account identifier:

  • Profile and onboarding details you provide: name, age, gender, skin tone, undertone, skin type, skin concerns, makeup experience level, budget, and beauty goals.
  • A profile photo, if you add one, stored in private cloud storage.
  • AI scan history: the results and metadata from Color Analysis, Facial Analysis, and Ideal Makeup scans (premium features).
  • Makeup products you save or scan, including name, brand, price, images, and ingredients, some captured from URLs, images, or barcodes you share.
  • Makeup looks you save and virtual try-on session images, including before-and-after photos.
  • Your subscription status, including product and entitlement identifiers and expiration dates, managed through RevenueCat.
  • App usage analytics, such as screen views, feature usage, onboarding answers, and the attribution source that led you to install.

Photos and AI Analysis

Glimora's premium scan features (Color Analysis, Facial Analysis, and Ideal Makeup) send the photo you provide to OpenRouter, which routes it to third-party vision AI models for analysis. These providers process the image through their API to generate your results.

Photos sent for analysis are not stored permanently by Glimora beyond the scan record described above. Your profile photo and any try-on or saved images are stored in our private cloud storage and linked to your account.

Third-Party Services We Use

We share data with the following processors only to operate the app:

  • Supabase, which hosts our database and file storage, including all account data and images listed above.
  • RevenueCat, which manages subscriptions and entitlements.
  • OpenRouter, which performs AI image analysis for premium scan features.
  • Apple, which processes App Store downloads, purchases, and diagnostics under its own terms.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to create and personalize your beauty profile, generate AI scan results and recommendations, save your products and looks, manage your subscription, and improve the app.

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Permissions

Glimora may ask for camera or photo library access so you can take or upload photos for try-on and scan features. You can manage these permissions in your iOS settings. Some features may not work if required permissions are disabled.

Data Retention and Security

We retain the data linked to your account for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account in the app, your account and all associated data are permanently removed from our database immediately through cascading deletes, with no grace period.

Photos sent to our AI provider for analysis are not retained by that provider beyond processing your request. Support emails are kept only as long as reasonably necessary to handle your request, unless a longer period is legally required.

Deleting Your Account

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data from inside the app: open the Profile tab and tap Delete Account, located below Contact Us. See our Account Deletion page for full details.

Important: deleting your account does not cancel an active App Store subscription. Cancel your subscription through Apple first to avoid being charged after your data is removed.

Account deletion details

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to or restrict certain processing under laws such as the GDPR and CCPA. You can exercise deletion directly through the in-app Delete Account option, or contact us at privacy@glimora.app for other requests. We do not sell your personal information.

Children

Glimora is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact privacy@glimora.app and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy as Glimora evolves. If we make material changes to how we handle your data, we will update this page and the Last updated date above.
