Face Data and Photos

Glimora may process photos or selfies that you choose to provide in order to generate personalized in-app results, including color analysis, facial analysis, skin analysis, eye/brow analysis, Glow Score, product recommendations, and AI makeup try-on. These photos may include your face.

Face/photo data may include photos or selfies you choose from your camera or photo library, image data sent to Glimora's backend for AI processing, AI-generated analysis such as face shape, visible features, skin presentation, color/undertone guidance, brow/eye guidance, Glow Score, product keywords or recommendations, and generated makeup try-on images. Optional profile photos and saved makeup reference images may also contain a face.

How We Use Face Data

We use face/photo data only to provide the beauty scan, personalized recommendation, saved result, profile display, saved look, product guidance, or makeup try-on feature you request.

We do not use face data to identify you, authenticate you, create a biometric template or faceprint, recognize you across other apps or services, surveil you, track you, advertise to you, or sell your data. We do not train biometric identification models.

Where Face Data Is Stored

Most personal data is stored on your device. Profile photos, saved looks, generated try-on result images, user profile answers, scan history/results, Glow Score, saved products, product scans, and user-added products are stored locally using app device storage / AsyncStorage.

Glimora does not store face images, biometric identifiers, scan history, saved looks, or makeup try-on result images in our Supabase database. Supabase is used for app identity, referrals, account deletion, subscription-related checks, and non-personal catalog operations.

Glimora's backend receives images only to complete the requested AI feature and does not persist the original face image in the database.

Sharing of Face Data

Face data is not sold, shared with advertisers, shared with data brokers, or used for cross-app tracking.

We share photos or image inputs only with the third-party AI providers needed to complete the specific feature you request: OpenRouter (which routes the request to Google's Gemini models) for beauty, skin, color, facial, and eye/brow analysis and glow scores, and fal.ai for generating makeup try-on images. Each provider is contractually required to protect your data to the same or equal standard described in this policy, to process it only on Glimora's instructions, and not to use it for advertising, marketing, model training, or use-based data mining.

OpenRouter (routes your image to Google Gemini, the model that analyzes it): OpenRouter does not store the content of requests by default and retains only non-content metadata such as timestamps and token counts. In our account settings we have disabled all training on request data (both paid and free endpoints), disabled publishing of prompts, and disabled product-improvement use of our inputs and outputs.

Google Gemini (via OpenRouter): the Gemini models are accessed through OpenRouter using provider endpoints that do not train on request data. Google may retain request logs only briefly for abuse monitoring, safety, and legal compliance, after which they are deleted, and does not store your photo as a biometric identifier.

fal.ai (makeup try-on): fal.ai processes your photo and briefly hosts the input and generated result on its content-delivery network so the app can download it; we set these files to expire within one hour, after which fal.ai deletes them. fal.ai is not authorized to use your photo for training or any other purpose.

Retention and Deletion of Face Data

On Glimora's servers we do not store your face data: your photo is passed through only in transit to our AI providers and is discarded within seconds once your result is returned, because we have no need to retain it after generating your result.

Face/photo data stored on your device (your photos, scan results, saved looks, and generated try-on images) remains there only until you delete the related item where available, replace it, clear app data, delete your account, or uninstall the app. This length is entirely under your control.

You give consent before any photo is sent, and you can withdraw consent to AI photo processing at any time by declining further scans, deleting stored photos and results in the app, or deleting your account, which clears your consent and your locally stored data.

Makeup try-on history is capped locally, and older local images are deleted when removed from the local history cap. Account deletion clears local app data and requests server-side account deletion.
